Papa Rick Fake Book
Papa Rick Fake Book – Classic Standards & Working Musician Lead Sheets
The Papa Rick Fake Book is a compact working-musician collection of numbered lead sheets featuring melodies and chord changes in a simple, practical format.
Rather than a traditional published songbook, this collection has the feel of a musician’s personal gig book: straightforward charts designed to get you playing quickly without unnecessary notation. The repertoire includes jazz standards, popular songs, Latin selections, and familiar performance favorites.
Each tune is clearly numbered, making the collection especially convenient for bandstand use, rehearsals, set lists, and quick song calls during a performance.
Available in C and B♭ editions, so musicians can easily use corresponding versions of the same collection.
Ideal for: jazz musicians, horn players, singers, lounge and hotel musicians, cruise-ship performers, casual bands, and anyone looking for a compact library of easy-to-read lead sheets.
